Good! You people buy into that and do that. It’ll make my unique articles that much stronger and I’ll rank higher. So, yeah, please do that. Please buy that system. It will help me out.

I just had someone pay me $25 to put an article on one of my websites. I gladly accepted it since the copy of it passed Copyscape and it had some good content in it. The article really had to do with the niche of my site so their client will get some benefit from my site linking to their for years to come. It’s a win-win situation as I see it.

What else would really help this SEO company, though, would be to have access to nearly 1000 websites, all on different hosts that would accept their original articles for free. Ok, almost free. They would not have to pay for each article submission but they’d get access to post on all of these websites for $67 per month. It’s a good deal and worth checking out – the Keyword Academy.

I meant to post this a little while ago and was just reminded of it now. I had a client approach me saying that he was thinking of buying a single banner ad on some website for $850. I told him there’s no way he should do that. It would be wasted money since the link would disappear and there were quite literally about 30 banner ads on that page already. The best traffic you can get, hands down, is from Google. That is your goal. If you spent that $850 in article marketing, you’d get somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000-3000 good links pointing at your site that stay there – not just one banner. Those links are long lasting – not just 4 months. The more links that point to your site, the higher you rank – it’s really just about that simple.

You would want to do some keyword research and find the right long tail keywords to target in your niche. That’s important – very important. But you do that, set up the articles and you get long lasting results. I know.

I think that was one those tips I heard but didn’t pay much attention to. I think I got a little greedy again, too. It’s all about targeted traffic, people!

I had a site that was getting lots of traffic but it was completely unrelated to another site I had that was doing well. I put the link on the high traffic site. Then I noticed that I was still getting traffic on the site it was linking to but not as much AdSense revenue was coming in. Within a few days, I figure out one possible reason, then I removed that link. I think things are back to normal now and I learned an important lesson, so it was worth it.

This is true with sites not running AdSense as well. Just don’t post a link to your site on any old site. The page your link is on must relate to your website. It can be a category in a directory, that’s fine. The best links are from entire sites that relate to your website or else pages that do. So this is why article marketing works. The page that your link in the resource box is on has 400 words about your topic that relates to your website. So a link from that page is targeted traffic.

Get writing and get your articles out there.

So we know that you need unique content for your posts on your websites. That’s a fact. That’s is what gets you traffic from Google when you use the right keywords. Pretty simple formula, actually. So what’s up with all these ads for PLR articles?

What are PLR articles?

PLR stands for “Private Label Rights” which means you have the rights to do whatever you want to with them. You can republish them or whatever.

Don’t bother buying a pack of PLR articles and republish them on your website running AdSense. That’s pretty much worthless. By the time you do it, it has been done over and over with the same articles. Search engines can spot copies, so there’s no value there and it might even hurt you.

So what do you do with PLR articles?

Lots of stuff! First, you can use them for inspiration when writing your own articles. This works really well, actually. Someone else already did the research and you’re just re-writing them. You can even pay to have them rewritten and you’ve got good, original (and unique) content. Perfect.

Second, find some good ones and turn them into e-books or movies that you create and narrate from turning them into Powerpoint presentations. Add pictures, more content and put in more value – enough value that someone would pay to get access to. You can even put those ebooks on sites like Amazon now for the Kindle – that’s a huge money maker… if you have the time (personally, I’m doing the keyword website thing because that suits me better).

Third, let your creativity run wild! You can probably come up with more ideas and ways to use the content that you get from PLR articles. Knowledge is power, right? People are looking on the Web for information. You just need to be there to give it to them. Pretty simple.

This is a side note but don’t forget to check your web stats or Google Analytics to see what keywords people are using to get to your site. Focus on those keywords because you’re already starting to rank well for them. Capitalize on that.

So it’s up to you what you want to do with them. I just wanted to explain here how even though these ads for PLR articles look like scams, they’re actually not and can be quite useful for you.
