Well, this is exciting.
Last month, I was close to making $100 with AdSense. As of last night, I passed that mark for June and it was only the 23rd! This is cool because it seems like as long as I keep doing what I’m doing I can count on at least $100 per month from AdSense.
My next goal is $300, then $500, then $1000.
I’m still trying to do my 30 articles in 30 days but things stalled at article #12. It’s summer now and I’m busy. I’m trying to get a UAW article out this week since I know that will help. We’ll see how close I get by the end of the month. Maybe I’ll just be a few behind and can make them up in a few days in July. The site that I’m doing this for is seeing an increase in traffic. I think I’ll see more benefits next month.
One interesting thing that happened was I put up an article called “Bejeweled Blitz Tips and Hints” and I submitted it to Digg and it’s getting nice traffic along with clicks on ads. It just happened to be something I knew quite a bit about and there wasn’t much else out there on the topic. I’ve successfully swept in and made that page an authority on the topic. People adding comments helps, too. It’s good that it’s on that site because it has been around a long time and Google spiders it pretty often.
I’m not huge on blogging about hot topics but if the right one comes up, you bet I’ll do something about it. You never know, it might get nice traffic.
I think I started on the Keyword Academy program back at the end of February and I was putting up sites in early March. I’ve put in work, that’s for sure. It’s starting to pay off and I know it’ll continue. You only get out of something what you put into it! (have I said that before? 
)
