I just had someone pay me $25 to put an article on one of my websites. I gladly accepted it since the copy of it passed Copyscape and it had some good content in it. The article really had to do with the niche of my site so their client will get some benefit from my site linking to their for years to come. It’s a win-win situation as I see it.

What else would really help this SEO company, though, would be to have access to nearly 1000 websites, all on different hosts that would accept their original articles for free. Ok, almost free. They would not have to pay for each article submission but they’d get access to post on all of these websites for $67 per month. It’s a good deal and worth checking out – the Keyword Academy.

I meant to post this a little while ago and was just reminded of it now. I had a client approach me saying that he was thinking of buying a single banner ad on some website for $850. I told him there’s no way he should do that. It would be wasted money since the link would disappear and there were quite literally about 30 banner ads on that page already. His would get lost and people don’t even pay attention to banners anymore.

So here’s what I wrote him. I thought I’d post it here since the very next day this same kind of thing came up in a conversation with someone else and I ended up forwarding him this same email. Enjoy!

Hi Tim,

No, I wouldn’t advertise there. No way. It’s all ads and that’s not your target market. You’d be wasting your money.

The best traffic you can get, hands down, is from Google. That is your goal. If you spent that $850 in , you’d get somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000-3000 good links pointing at your site that stay there – not just one banner. Those links are long lasting – not just 4 months. The more links that point to your site, the higher you rank – it’s really just about that simple.

You would want to do some keyword research and find the right long tail keywords to target in your niche. That’s important – very important. But you do that, set up the articles and you get long lasting results. I know.

Joining that program is just $1 for your first month then $33 per month after that. So here’s how I’d spend $850:

TKA Program – 4 months:        $100
140 articles (300 words ea):    $420
UAW Subscription – 4 months:    $268
3 UAW articles:                $  45
————————————————-
TOTAL:                        $833

Here’s what UAW is:

http://www.buildkeywordsites.com/unique-content-for-articles-the-easy-way/

Here are the steps:

1. Join TKA.
2. Watch all the videos.
3. Do your keyword research using the Niche Refinery (included with TKA).
4. Sign up at TextBroker.com and order articles.
5. Start posting your articles in the Guest Posting System (GPS) (now called Postrunner and included with TKA).
6. Order your UAW articles at thecontentauthority.com.
7. Post your UAW articles.

You’ll time everything so that your articles get released over time, so over 4 months is ok. At the end of the 4 months, you’ll have the 2-3k links pointing to your site, making it an authority on the long tail niche keywords that you find. Google will love you.

It’ll take some work on your part, I won’t lie – but it’ll work. I know it will. You’ll get good return on your investment for years to come.

My first AOM site made me $4500 in less than 3 months. Sure, it was like the perfect storm and it was years ago, but I know these sites work. If you combine the Keyword Academy (TKA) with AOM, you’re set!
