I’ve posted about 15 articles on EzineArticles.com now and I like the results. One of my articles is in the top 10 of its category.
They do take time to create, I won’t lie. Articles have to be unique and they are only posted there – although they do allow people to copy articles from there, so you can get links on other sites possibly but there’s no guarantee.
I’m seeing a little bit of traffic from those articles, which is cool. The traffic is targeted, too. Another benefit will be some PR (PageRank) juice, so we’ll see in a few months how that helps.
So I think it’s worth the time to post articles on EzineArticles. Go for it.
Should You Point Links to Your Articles on EzineArticles?
Some people will say you should while others will say skip it. I think you should get at least one other article from some other site pointing to each article you have on EzineArticles.com (EZA). Then also add one bookmark like on Delicious or somewhere. That’s all you need to do. EZA will rank well on Google anyway and send you traffic because the site is so huge and ranks well (it has original content).
What’s Better than EzineArticles?
I did find something better than EZA to use for article marketing. It’s the Keyword Academy. They not only show you the shortcuts on how to set up websites and pick the good keywords, you get access to literally hundreds (and soon thousands) of websites that emerging to be just like EZA. They are all independently owned and accept your articles for free. You can get one link from each of those domains and you’ll be doing way better than just using EzineArticles.com.
